This project concerns the complete renovation of the attic located in the green space of the St. Moriz Golf Club. The main challenge? Transforming the distribution of interior spaces, giving new design and functionality to the interiors, incorporating contemporary elements respecting the traditional Engadinese atmosphere.
The Project
The client, owner of the penthouse, immediately expressed the need to make substantial changes to the distribution of space, in order to provide each bedroom with its own private bathroom. Another concept of fundamental importance that guided the development right from the design phase, is the idea of finding the perfect combination of modern lines and materials with an antique flavour, thus creating spaces with great comfort that preserve the atmosphere of a typical mountain cabin.
Our design
The customer's needs guided every single choice, both in terms of structure and design. Thus a unique attic was created, where comfort and quality reign. The spectacular entrance with wooden false ceilings and the perimeters allow guests to immediately immerse themselves in an exclusive atmosphere of luxury and authenticity at the same time. In all environments we find the use of materials such as antique brushed wood in shades of dove grey, Piasentina stone in different finishes and the use of bronze details.
The details
Fabrics and fine leather embellish and finish the rooms, making them even more comfortable for the guest. The living room in which the large fireplace reigns is divided by the surrounding rooms by an innovative winery that is used as a fifth partition.
